Payment & settlement

AGS Payments and Settlements

The secure payment and settlement division of American Giving Society. We handle cash prize clearing, winner verification, and direct disbursement for the annual sweepstakes.

What we do

Secure prize payment and clearing

Cash prize disbursement

All cash prizes are paid by check or electronic transfer directly to verified winners. AGS Payments and Settlements clears every award before it leaves our control.

Winner verification

We confirm identity, eligibility, and tax documentation before any prize is released, working with the independent administrator and outside counsel.

Regulatory compliance

Prize administration is reviewed by Carnegie Sterns International Law Group to ensure compliance with sweepstakes, consumer protection, and tax reporting requirements.

Sweepstakes

How prizes are paid

When a winner is selected in the annual American Giving Society sweepstakes, the independent administrator verifies the entry and the winner's eligibility. Once verification is complete, AGS Payments and Settlements initiates payment by check or electronic transfer.

Winners are never asked to send money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency to claim a prize. All tax obligations are the winner's responsibility and are reported to the appropriate authorities.

No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win. Request official rules through our Contact page.

Security

How we protect prize payments

Independent oversight

AGS Payments and Settlements does not select winners. Winner selection is conducted by independent sweepstakes administrator Richard Seligman, and prize rules are reviewed by Carnegie Sterns International Law Group before the promotion opens.

Direct payment only

Cash prizes are paid directly to the verified winner. We never route payments through third-party apps, prepaid cards, or any channel that requires a winner to pay a fee to receive funds.
