Why Children’s Hospitals Are Unique. And so essential.
The American Giving Society has proven Children’s Hospitals are not
just buildings. Besides caring and providing for sick children in
emergency and chronic settings, they contribute in essential ways to
primary care and wellness, to wellness prevention including child
abuse, and to health fairs and in-school health services. The unique
role of the Children’s Hospitals regarding the prevention of social
exclusion and violence is determinant for the present and future.
